Delete your data
Draft, under legal review. It may change before Noteva launches.

You can delete single items at any time, or your whole account. Here is exactly what happens.
1. Delete your account
Sign in on the website, open Settings › Account and choose Delete account. To confirm, type your account’s email address and your password (or sign in again with SyntaxEror ID).
A team owner must first remove the team’s other members.
2. What happens
At once: you are signed out everywhere, and every connected app, device and service (Google Calendar, Slack, Discord) is disconnected.
For 30 days you can change your mind: sign in and choose Restore, and everything comes back as it was.
After 30 days your account is erased for good: your items, files, transcripts and summaries, your groups and settings, your connections and sessions, and the usage analytics linked to your account.
3. What is kept
Payment records (amount, plan, date, invoice number, payment reference and, for paid payments, the billing email) are kept, separated from your deleted account, for accounting. [Retention period to be confirmed with legal review.]
Our encrypted backups can hold a copy of erased data for up to 63 days before it is overwritten.
Aggregated usage counts that identify no one.
4. Delete a single item
Open the item and delete it: it is removed from our servers at once (backups: up to 63 days).
5. Export first
Settings › Account › Export makes a ZIP of your items, transcripts, summaries, notes and media (up to 256 MB of media). The download link lasts 15 minutes and the file is kept for 24 hours.
6. Apps on your devices
Signing out of the extension, desktop app or Android app does not delete your account. Uninstalling the extension or the Android app removes what it kept on that device.
7. Need help?
If you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from your account’s email address.
